Davis Owen-Sensei, Western Canada's Regional Director, has dedicated himself to martial arts since 1995 under the expert tutelage of Genbukan Renshi Sean Muncaster. Recognizing his unwavering commitment, Davis Owen established a Duncan dojo in British Columbia in 2012. He further refined his skills through intensive training trips to Japan with his teacher.
In 2013, Soke Shoto Tanemura honored Davis with the martial arts name "Kongo," meaning stronger than the hardest steel.
Sensei Davis's passion lies in empowering students to fearlessly embrace life while enhancing awareness, mobility, strength, balance, and self-defense in a disciplined environment.
